Julie Maclean came to interior design following a successful career in international marketing. During a decade of extensive global travel she was a frequent guest in the world’s most stylish hotels, nurturing an appreciation of comfort and luxury and an understanding of excellent design. The rich and varied cultures, landscapes and architecture she experienced have strongly influenced her work.

Prior to embarking on a major renovation and extension of her own 17th century home, she took a diploma in Interior Design, achieving a distinction. From her studio in Bourn, Cambridge, she has since successfully completed a variety of restoration, renovation, refurbishment and new-build projects.

With an equal passion for modern architecture and design history, she brings a fresh approach to any scheme. Calm and reassuring, she takes the worry out of major projects, inspiring confidence in the process.

"Julie listened carefully to my requirements and produced fantastic and innovative ideas, resulting in a stunning home"
