This former vicarage was in need of complete modernisation. The clients wanted to restore the Victorian splendour, within the context of a light and modern family home.
Some interesting period features were salvaged; original doors, shutters, floorboards and a fireplace with Delft tiles. Julie emphasised the house's Victorian origins; installing a cornice in the drawing room & library, wide architraves, period dado and picture rail; designing and commissioning a bespoke marble fireplace, stained glass, vanity units, cabinetry and sympathetic panelling.
